About me

Hey, I’m Harry. A woodworker based in Canberra, Australia.

I love making things from recycled timber. Most of what I build is for my own place, or for friends and family, and every piece starts with timber that already has a story. Nail holes, old joins, weathering and character you just cannot buy from a hardware store. No two pieces are ever the same, and that’s the part I love most.

I’m also the creator of TimberCheck, a simple app I built for myself after getting tired of doing timber maths on my phone while scrolling Marketplace. I use it all the time to work out whether a listing is actually good value, and I figured other woodworkers might find it handy too.
